Hever Castle Woods
£59 pp (includes nourishing lunch + warm drinks by the fire)
THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT
A quiet return to yourself, held by nature.
In the middle of December’s chaos — the to-do lists, the wrapping paper, the endless expectations — what would it feel like to step away for just one afternoon?
No demands.
No decisions.
No performing or producing.
Just a gentle, grounding retreat in Nature — held in the peace of ancient woodland and the quiet magic of the Solstice.
This gathering is for the woman who’s carried too much this year.
Who’s ready to lay it down — even for a little while.
Who doesn’t need a fix… just a place to feel held.
What this offers (beyond the schedule)
It’s a pause in a world that doesn’t give many.
A moment of seasonal ceremony — without pressure or pretence.
A circle where you can show up exactly as you are, and feel:
A sense of relief — to step outside the noise
Nourished — physically, emotionally, soulfully
Connected — to yourself, the season, and the quiet wisdom of the land
Accepted — no judgement, no “shoulds”, no fixing
Peaceful — your nervous system will thank you
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or like you’re holding too many roles at once — this is a space to come back to you.
What to Expect
Held outdoors in a private, secluded woodland near Hever Castle, this 4-hour mini retreat includes:
Gentle Qigong to wake the body
Simple, grounding movements to help you arrive in your body and soften tension — no experience necessary.
Forest Bathing to connect deeply with nature
A guided sensory experience to slow down, notice, and be held by the landscape — exploring the Solstice themes of darkness, stillness, and returning light.
Fireside Ritual
We gather round the fire for nourishing soup, fresh bread, and a sweet treat. Then we share gentle reflection, poetry, and intention-setting — planting the seeds for the cycle ahead.
You’ll leave feeling anchored, connected, and more like yourself again.
Why the Winter Solstice?
The Solstice marks the longest night and the quiet turning of the Earth toward light.
It’s an ancient invitation to:
Rest
Reflect
Let go of what no longer fits
Honour what is quietly waiting to grow
In a season that often pushes you to do more, this is your reminder that stillness is sacred — and Nature doesn’t rush her becoming. Neither should you.

What Others Say
“I did not expect to have such a powerful experience with Forest Bathing. I enjoy being in Nature and well-being so was curious to try and it definitely delivered. I felt so incredibly calm and at peace. I completely lost track of time and got lost in the moment. Tansy was very friendly and professional and lead us on a magical journey. I will definitely be back!”

About Your Guide: Tansy Jane Dowman
I'm Tansy — Nature connector, women’s guide, TEDx speaker, and forest bathing facilitator.
My work is rooted in one truth:
You are Nature.
And when you remember that, you come home to yourself.
I walk beside women on journeys of reconnection - not through fixing or forcing, but through creating safe, sacred, sensory spaces where their nervous systems can rest and their inner wisdom can rise.
This gathering is not about doing.
It’s about being - and remembering what that feels like.
I’d love to hold this space for you.
