September has a habit of arriving with a very long to-do list.

Diaries fill up. Work picks up. School starts. Plans get made. And suddenly we're supposed to be “back into routine” and getting up to speed.

You know that moment when you realise your diary is full again... but there’s almost nothing in it that is actually for you?

September seems to do that pretty quickly.

The wonder. The joy. The awe. The moments that make me stop in my tracks because something ordinary suddenly looks completely extraordinary.
