New Year Mindful Intention Setting Walk & Firepit Circle

  • Dormans Road Lingfield, England, RH7 6QH United Kingdom (map)

A gentle walk into the year ahead

Not a resolution. A remembering.

What if the new year didn’t require pressure, plans, or performance....
but presence?

This mindful walk is an invitation to begin your year differently.

Together, we’ll move through the beautiful grounds surrounding Claridge House Retreat, breathing in the stillness of the winter countryside and slowly reconnecting with the deeper direction within.

We’ll finish gathered around a warming fire, where you’ll be guided through a simple, grounding intention-setting ritual to gently call in the year ahead.

This is not about fixing, forcing, or proving.
It’s about pausing long enough to hear yourself.
To honour what’s ready to grow, and let the rest fall away.

What to Expect

  • A gentle, guided walk (approx. 4–5km) through woodland, fields, and quiet country paths

  • Reflection prompts to explore what you’re letting go of — and what’s quietly calling you forward

  • Opportunities for silent walking, intention setting, and mindful presence

  • Time around the fire to journal, speak (if you wish), and begin the year grounded in what matters

  • Optional use of essential oils or grounding practices to support your nervous system

  • A space held with deep care, slowness, and no pressure to perform

Who It’s For

This walk is for you if you’re:

  • Feeling the pull to start the year more intentionally than intensively

  • Tired of rigid goal-setting and craving something more embodied

  • Ready to reconnect with your own rhythm before rushing into action

  • Comfortable walking 4–5km over uneven ground at a gentle pace

  • Curious about weaving nature, ritual, and reflection into your new year
