““I didn’t realise how overstimulated I’d become until I stepped into the woods and my whole body exhaled.”
”
Your nervous system was never designed for this pace.
Constant notifications. Pressure to keep up. Endless noise.
Always thinking, planning, responding, performing.
Many of us are moving through life in a state of chronic activation without even realising it.
Burnout. Anxiety. Feeling emotionally exhausted. Overwhelmed by simple tasks. Struggling to switch off. Feeling disconnected from yourself, your body, or the present moment.
Forest Bathing offers something radically different.
Not another thing to achieve.
Not another wellbeing trend to master.
But a gentle return to a pace your nervous system actually recognises.
Nature doesn’t demand your productivity.
It invites your presence.
This woodland immersion is designed to help soothe an overstimulated mind and support nervous system regulation through slow, sensory connection with the natural world.
A chance to soften.
To breathe deeper.
To remember what calm feels like in your body.
A Gentle Reset in the Woods
Join me in a beautiful secluded woodland setting just outside the grounds of Hever Castle for a deeply restorative afternoon among the trees.
Over 2.5 hours, you’ll be gently guided through mindful nature-based practices designed to help you slow down and regulate your nervous system naturally.
This is not hiking.
It’s not fitness.
And there is absolutely no pressure to talk, share or “get it right.”
Instead, this is spacious, sensory time in nature designed to support your wellbeing in a deeply human way.
Together we’ll explore practices that may help you:
Calm feelings of stress, anxiety or overwhelm
Ease mental fatigue and emotional exhaustion
Reduce sensory overload and overstimulation
Feel more grounded and present in your body
Reconnect with a sense of calm, clarity and inner spaciousness
Experience rest without guilt
Remember what it feels like to simply be
Sometimes healing doesn’t arrive through pushing harder.
Sometimes it begins the moment we stop forcing ourselves to keep up.
What’s Included
Guided Forest Bathing Session
You’ll be gently guided through a series of simple sensory invitations, mindful pauses, grounding practices and moments of quiet reflection amongst the trees.
Forest Bathing (also known as Shinrin-Yoku) has been shown to support wellbeing by helping regulate the nervous system and reduce stress hormones through immersive time in nature.
No experience needed.
Just come exactly as you are.
This session is particularly supportive for those experiencing burnout, high stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm or neurodivergent sensory fatigue.
Fire Circle & Reflection
We’ll close the afternoon around the fire with herbal tea and seasonal treats.
A chance to gently reflect and let the experience settle into the body.
No pressure to share — simply space to land.
Herbal Teas & Seasonal Treats

Why Forest Bathing for Nervous System Regulation?
Because your nervous system responds to the world around you.
And nature speaks a language your body still remembers.
The gentle movement of leaves.
Birdsong.
Natural light.
Fresh air.
The absence of constant demand.
When we slow down enough to truly notice the living world, something shifts.
Breathing deepens.
Shoulders soften.
Thoughts become less frantic.
The body begins to feel safe again.
This is not about escaping life.
It’s about returning to yourself within it.
A reminder that regulation doesn’t always come through doing more.
Sometimes it comes through reconnecting with what is natural.
